DaimlerChrysler Delegation at Chelyabinsk Forge-and-Press Plant

     The main purpose of DaimlerChrysler’s representatives’ visit was an audit of the company. The delegation has familiarized itself with the management, logistics, design and subcontract management, quality management and production. Representatives of DaimlerChrysler concern have visited the press, forging, and mechanical-repair shops, manufacture of punches and molding tools and in OKZ, talked to the leading experts and shop superintendents and interviewed the plant’s management in groups.
     The visit of the foreign delegation has given the plant independent feedback, helped set priorities and emphasized the positive issues and things requiring additional work.
