PBV visit to Chelyabinsk Forge-and-Press Plant

     On 2 November Chelyabinsk Forge-and-Press Plant was visited by PBV representatives. American company PBV (Zy-Tech Global Industries) is one of the biggest and actively developing companies that manufactures lock valves for gas-and-oil industry.
     PBV wanted to learn the plant’s organizational structure, and to discuss delivery terms of pre-machined forgings (caps, balls, bodies).
     The plant’s guests were David Sanger, Vice-President, and Don Edwards, Purchasing Manager, and also PBV’s representatives in Russia.
     The guests visited the forge shop # 2 and observed manufacturing of the first ordered forging.
     In the result of negotiations a supply contract has been concluded. First there must be delivered a preproduction batch and sent to PBV for testing. Successful test results will give a start for a long-term cooperation.
