Nine-month work results of Chelyabinsk Forge-and-Press Plant

     Over nine-month period Chelyabinsk Forge-and-Press Plant produced 20530 tons of forgings which is 61.6% more than during the same period of 2007, 6192.8 tons of sheet-metal stampings with the run –up of the production about 45%.
     Wheel production is also growing. In nine-month period Chelyabinsk Forge-and-Press Plant manufactured 455733 wheels. The growth of throughput of wheels for freight transport is 63%, of wheels for cars with little load-carrying capacity is 18%. The total run-up is 52% higher than last year.
     In October the new line of powder coating “Politon” will be installed. This will allow increasing wheel production rates.
     The production of special purpose vehicles – “the youngest” one -  is also developing. In nine months period Chelyabinsk Forge-and-Press Plant manufactured 233 items of special purpose vehicles. Heavy-duty semi-trailers with load carrying capacity from 26 to 60 are in great demand. In nine-month period Chelyabinsk Forge-and-Press Plant produced 54 vehicles mentioned above.
