Chelyabinsk Forge-and-Press Plant is in more advantegeous position than European competitors

     Sales volumes of European forging companies reduced for more than 50%, some companies became bancrupt. The reason is in limited area of business that is focused on a small range of products.      Unlike Europeans, starting from 2007 management of Chelyabinsk Forge-and-Press Plant conducts goal–oriented policy for product diversification and access to new markets. As a result, decrease in sales will be insignificant and shipping sales of forging products will remain on the same level.      Andrey Gartung, Director General of Chelyabinsk Forge-and-Press Plant gave his evaluation of the participation in Hanover Messe as follows: "European companies can not withstand competition. The biggest automobile corporations demand price reduction that is ahead of raw material price cutting. We offer our production 25 - 30% cheaper than European manufacturers; moreover our production complies with ISO/TS 16949:2002 requirements. That is why crisis gives us a possibility to implement something that seemed to be hard or even impossible to do before."
