More capacities for machining

Chelyabinsk Forge-and-Press Plant extends one of its main business lines. In 2012 the company plans to significantly increase number of orders for machining.

Machining shop was opened in 2007 in response to strategic customers demand. Nowadays machinery of the shop comprises about 15 machines. Among them are turning and drilling machines, NC high-precision machining centers which allows carrying out different operations on steel parts with size range from 50 to 700 mm.

The demand for machining services is constantly increasing and growing number of customers give this job to CHKPZ - the only Russian forging company certified in accordance with ISI/TS 16949 requirements. This autumn CHKPZ has signed the contract with Scania for shipment of engine components. Besides the company is developing such new business line as manufacturing of bearing rings. CHKPZ will increase production capacities of machining shop to satisfy demand of its customers, purchase new equipment and modernize the existing one. Totally the company will spend about 30 million rubles. Investments are also planned in repair of shop building and production floor space.
