Social commitments

Chelyabinsk Forge-and-Press Plant summed up the results of fulfillment of social programs and commitments, described in collective labour agreement last year.

Last year more than 700 people obtained employment in the plant. The major part of them – 460 people – are factory workers. The total number of employees approaches to 3000.

Average monthly income of the factory workers in 2011 made 23527 rubles that is on 16,9% higher if compared to the previous year. 12.8 million rubles were directed to social payments. This money was spent particularly on support of low-income families and families in desperate need, deserved veterans of the plant, on compensation of transport costs, additional nutrition of women expecting a baby, on payment of one-time allowances in case of marriage, delivery of a child, enrolment of children to the school, kindergarten and so on.

In 2011 the plant allocated more than 3.4 million rubles on the improvement of health of the employees and their children. About 500 people managed to recreate and recover their health in recreation centers “Chaika”, “Utyos”, in health resort “Yelovoye”, in health camps “Kosmos”, “Yelanchik”, “Yunost” and others.

Last year about 10 million rubles were spent on professional training and retraining of the staff members. Around 3000 factory workers received training, majority of them not only once, as part of different education programs and courses.

More than 1.6 million rubles were directed by the plant for improving of the conditions and workplace safety, only as part of performance of the agreement on labour protection.

As Andrey Gartung, general director of JSC “CHKPZ”, emphasizes “The improving of social security of workers has always been and remains one of the priorities for the plant. In 2012 all social programs will be implemented in full, and, according to plans, will exceed the indicators of  2011.”
