JSC “Chelyabinsk Forge-and-Press Plant” will supply components to “Uralvagonzavod”
JSC “Chelyabinsk Forge-and-Press Plant” has made contract with JSC Scientific and Industrial Corporation “Uralvagonzavod” for supply of railcar components.
At the end of the last year the companies negotiated supply of one of sheet-metal stamping part and now are finalizing drawings approval process for forged component. Besides there are two license agreements signed which allow CHKPZ supply assembled finished components.
All this has resulted from the great amount of work done by Chelyabinsk company. The negotiations have been held during several years. The quality of CHKPZ work is proved by international certificates ISO 9001 и ISO/TS 16949 – special standard for companies working in automotive industry. However it required additional certification - by JSC “Russian Railways”. And today CHKPZ has successfully overcome this stage.
“The contract with Uralvagonzavod will bring in to CHKPZ large revenue but this is not the majour victory, - notes the head of sales department for railway components Nikolay Balashov. So far Uralvagonzavod was the only big Russian railcar manufacturer which didn’t cooperate with CHKPZ. Currently we can freely say that CHKPZ supplies its products to all railway manufacturers located in Russia and near-abroad countries.All news
